When using Cloud Email, specific account and server limits are enforced to ensure optimal deliverability, account security, and server stability across all accounts.
Below is a summary of the standard operational specifications and limits applied to Cloud Email mailboxes.
Cloud Email Specifications Overview
| Feature / Directive | Maximum Limit | Details |
| Email Attachment Size | < 25 MB | Total size limit per outgoing or incoming email message (including message headers and files). |
| Email Aliases | 50 / mailbox | Additional email addresses that route incoming mail directly into your main inbox. |
| Email Forwards | 4 / mailbox | External or internal addresses configured to receive forwarded copies of incoming mail. |
Understanding Cloud Email Limits
1. Attachment Size Limit (< 25 MB)
- The total size of any individual email message, including attachments and encoding, must remain under 25 Megabytes (MB).
- Note: For files larger than 25 MB, we recommend uploading the file to a cloud storage platform (such as Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox) and sharing the link via email.
2. Email Aliases (50 per Mailbox)
- An alias is an alternate email address (e.g.,
info@yourdomain.caorsales@yourdomain.ca) that delivers directly into your primary inbox without requiring a separate paid mailbox.
- Each Cloud Email account supports up to 50 individual aliases.
3. Email Forwards (4 per Mailbox)
- Email forwarding automatically redirects copies of incoming messages from your mailbox to external or secondary destination addresses.
- Each Cloud Email account supports up to 4 active email forwarding rules.
