Overview
If you are unable to locate the File Manager inside your Plesk control panel, or if you are still seeing an old file management interface, this is typically related to an ongoing account migration or a control panel display sync issue.
Because resolving interface discrepancies requires account-level inspection, this issue requires live support assistance to resolve.
Why Is This Happening?
There are two primary reasons why your File Manager may be missing or displaying incorrectly:
1. Active Account Migration in Progress
If you recently requested a migration from an older hosting package to our current Plesk platform:
Temporary Dual Access: You will temporarily see two control panels (the old interface and the new Plesk panel) attached to your account while files, databases, and mailboxes are being transferred.
Completion Window: Once our migration team completes the transfer, the old control panel will be removed automatically, leaving only your active Plesk panel and its File Manager.
2. Migration Is Complete (or You Were Already on Plesk)
If your migration has already been completed—or if your account was originally set up on Plesk—and you still cannot see the File Manager or are being redirected to an old panel interface, your hosting profile needs to be manually updated in our backend system.
