If you just purchased a new hosting package which is pending migrations
Specific to Non Migration Related Issues
If your hosting control panel (cpanel) appears greyed out, inactive, not connected or inaccessible, it typically points to one of three common scenarios: an unassigned domain on a new package, a browser display/cache issue, or an account-level glitch requiring technical assistance.
Follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue.
Step 1: Check If Your Domain Is Connected (New Purchases)
If you recently purchased a new hosting package, the control panel may remain inactive until a domain is linked to the hosting account.
Action: Ensure your domain is fully connected to your hosting plan by following our guide on How to connect a domain to plesk hosting package
Step 2: Clear Cache or Try Incognito Mode (Existing Accounts)
If your control panel was previously accessible but suddenly appears greyed out, local browser caching is often the cause.
Action: Open a new Incognito / Private Browsing window or try accessing your account using a different web browser.
Why this works: Browsers often store old session data that can prevent page elements from loading correctly.
Step 3: Contact Live Support
If you have tried using an Incognito/Private window and the control panel remains greyed out, there may be a backend service issue or account restriction.
Action: Transfer to a Live Agent.
What to provide: Let the support agent know that you have already attempted incognito mode so they can immediately escalate or investigate the backend setup for your account.
