Registering a domain with Internic is quick and straightforward. This article explains each step of the process, from choosing your domain name to completing registration, so you know exactly what to expect.
Step 1.
Log in to your Internic account, then select "Products" in the top-left corner. In the top toolbar, you will see “Domains”. Please select this.
Step 2.
In the right-hand side, there will be a blue button saying "purchase domain"; select this.
Step 3.
This will bring you to our domain search page. Here, it will tell you if the domain is available or already registered. If someone else already has the domain, it will provide further options with different extensions.
Once you have found the domain of your choice, you will be able to click "Add to cart". Please note you can add multiple domains to your cart before checking out. If you need help thinking of a name to find you can also use our AI generator explaining a bit of what you do.
Step 4.
Once everything has been added, you are able to click the "Continue" button underneath the search on the right-hand side.
This will take you to an add-on page, where you can choose any protections, hosting, or bundles for your domains. Once you have chosen the desired add-ons, you can click "Checkout".
Step 5.
If this is your first time registering a .CA, .ASIA, .US, .XXX, or .LAW domain, you will be required to complete additional contact information fields during checkout. These extensions have specific registry requirements that must be met before the domain can be successfully registered.
If you’ve previously registered a .CA, .ASIA, .US, .XXX, or .LAW domain or already have a contact profile on file, you won’t need to complete these fields again. The required information will already be saved to your account. Simply select the appropriate contact profile for the domain and continue through checkout.
Step 5.
Once you have selected your domain and your contact type. You will be able to proceed with checking out and select the blue "Process Order" button.
