Login to your Internic.ca account and select Domain Manager.
Click directly on your domain name to access the domain editing page.
On the domain editing page, select the DNS tab.
Scroll down to Manage Advanced DNS Records and click on Advanced DNS Manager.
If this section is not available, your domain may be set to Use Third Party Hosting with another provider's DNS. If this is the case, you will need to either make these changes in your DNS provider's account or park your domain on Rebel nameservers.
|Note: By changing your nameservers to park with Internic you may be disrupting any current DNS information, which could result in your website and/or email ceasing to function. Before making these changes please ensure that you no longer require your current DNS information.|
To park your domain on Internic DNS, please go to Nameserver Information and from the dropdown menu choose Park with Internic (Default).
Click Save Changes in this section.
Click on the domain name again to open the domain editing page, select the DNS tab, scroll down and click Advanced DNS Manager.
Click the button to Add New Record.
Leave the Record Type set as A. Leave the Host field blank (this will default to being your domain name), and in the Points To field enter the IP address Wix has provided you. Click the green button to Save.
Click the button to Add New Record and set the Record Type as CNAME. In the Alias field, type www and under Points to put the record information provided by Wix. Click the green button to Save.
Click the button to Add New Record again, and set the Record Type as CNAME. In the Alias field, type m, and under Points to put the record information provided by Wix. Click the green button to Save.
If your domain was already set to Park with Internic, Forward Domain, or Host with Internic, these records should take about 1 hour to propagate. If your domain was previously set to Use Third Party Hosting, updates can take up to 24-48 hours to propagate worldwide, though we find it's typically much closer to 6-12 hours.
